The story
About this creation
At the centre of the composition sits a natural blue sapphire that has not undergone heat treatment. Its colour is deep and multi-layered — from a delicate celestial blue to a rich, regal depth. Just so did nature shape it over thousands of years. An unheated sapphire is particularly prized, for it retains its authentic, “living” depth and energy.
The setting is crafted in 14-karat white gold — a refined metal with a cool, delicate lustre that perfectly accentuates the purity of the stone's colour. Flanking the sapphire are delicate diamonds, reminiscent of drops of light, which accentuate the sapphire's play and lend the jewel a discreet luxury.
For centuries, the sapphire has been a symbol of power, love and protection. In ancient Greece and Rome, kings and queens believed that the blue sapphire protected against envy and evil. In the Middle Ages, the clergy wore sapphires as a symbol of celestial purity, and people believed that this stone attracted divine blessing. It was attributed with the power to reconcile enemies, protect emotions and reveal secrets.
The name «sapphire» derives from the Greek word sappheiros, which once referred to lapis lazuli — a stone the colour of the sky. It is precisely this shade, the colour of sky and depth, that became the defining symbol of the sapphire throughout history, art and jewellery.

Caring for your jewellery
Caring for jewellery matters more than most people expect. Your creation sparkles newly after a gentle cleansing: most gemstones, and diamonds especially, respond beautifully to a wash in mild soapy water. But not every gem. An emerald, for example, must never be washed this way; its natural character asks for a different, gentler care. Please always ask us how to care for your jewellery, and especially for your gemstone. We will gladly show you.
Gold is a soft metal, and it deserves to be worn thoughtfully: removed for sport and heavy work, kept away from chemicals, stored in its box. And once every couple of years, we recommend bringing your jewel to a jeweller so the prongs can be checked for wear; a five-minute inspection protects a stone for a lifetime.
